My name is Anne-Marie Makombe, and I am currently based in Berlin. I am enrolled as a full-time BSc. Hons. Computing student at Arden University, Berlin. I am a fast learner and I look forward to any opportunity to develop my current skills.

I completed the Full-Stack Engineering Course with Codecademy in October 2023, during which I learnt both frontend and backend development, and completed projects that highlight the use of HTML, CSS, JavaScript:

• Created a basic application using MVC architecture: user can create new contacts and appointments.

I completed a Frontend Development hands-on training program with Kreativstorm from March 24 - April 20, 2024. During the program, I contributed to my assigned team by organising discussions for each project and helping to present our projects to our instructor and training group. I developed 1 fashion website, 1 calculator app and 2 interactive games as part of a team:

• Created vanilla HTML website with 5 pages using lists.

• Influenced 30% of a CSS project by creating an About page for a fashion website using vanilla HTML and CSS.

I was sponsored for a CFGDegree in the Data & Software Engineering cohort with Code First Girls. I learnt how to use Python and MySQL to build an API from scratch with a connected database, along with using Git, project management skills with Jira and TDD in Python:

• Created a flights database using MySQL that simulates an application that keeps track of flight bookings.
  
• Developed a Flower Shop API that follows CRUD framework using Python and MySQL.
  
• Contributed 60% to a group project by developing the game logic in a python file for an Educational Trivia Python console game, combining all the project files into a working python console game, writing the full project documentation, and creating the project README file.
